FabFitFun VIP Spring Box 2014

Let me preface by saying…this post is super late. I received my FFFVIP box a couple weeks ago and I will have to say that it was a great value for what I paid. Every box was curated with the same items so let’s go through them.

Kai Perfume Oil- $48
So this little vial is worth $48?? Cray cray. But anywho…apparently people rave about this perfume. I only wear Dolce &Gabbana Light Blue because it’s the only perfume I’ve found that doesn’t give me a headache. I gave this a try…it’s straight florals which is asking for a migraine. I’ve found it’s tolerable if I layer it with my Light Blue. But let’s just mention, this product is worth more than what I paid for the box.

Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer-$38
I should really use more products with SPF, so this primer is a perfect excuse! It’s a clear gel and it goes on a bit oily but I’ve found that it sinks into your skin and by the time I get to my bronzer, my skin no longer looks oily. This product is also water-resistant so maybe if I get to the beach this year and an even bigger maybe if I get to the water (requires a bathing suit…we’ll see) then this would be perfect!

Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD-$28.94
This cute little stab ball came with a straw to blow it up and a workout DVD that accompanied it. I totally tried the DVD. My workout was hindered by the fact that my cat, the one and only Tony Stark thought that since I was on the floor, I was a chew toy. But despite fighting him off, the workout was good for the core and I anticipating trying it again in the near future…and locking up Tony for a little while.

Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt-$19.99

I was intrigued by this mitt. The description makes this sound all “Eastern meets Western, this is going to help you in more ways than one” product. I’ve used this mitt once. They say to use it every couple of weeks and I will admit that my skin was very soft and smooth when I was done. Mildly nauseating (Yes, even as a nurse) to see chunks of skin coming off onto the mitt. I guess I should exfoliate more, huh? P.S.- Dermasuri followed me on IG…I feel like a celebrity!

Cult Gaia Turband-$48

I received the off white/polka dot with cherries version. I wouldn’t exactly wear this out of the house but I’ve absolutely worn it inside the house a bunch of times. This headband/turban combo has a wire in the headband that you can twist to wear it in different fashions. My husband thinks it’s weird, I think it’s cool!

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray-$25

I’ve always been unsure about dry shampoos. However, I’ve used this a few times to spruce up my hair in the afternoon and I will say it adds volume and I look way less greasy! This stuff gets my stamp of approval.

Level Naturals Shower Bombs-$7.99

These are SO COOL. I’ve used these shower bombs a couple times now and the menthol and eucalyptus make my shower feel like a mini-spa and it clears up my nose. These were a great find. I could totally see myself buying these in the future.

The Better Chip Spinach and Kale with Sea Salt-$1.99

I totally ate these before my new lifestyle change happened but still they were delicious and I usually hate things with kale or kale flavor. If I could still eat chips then I’d totes purchase more of these!

For those of you who aren’t the best at mental math, this value of this box is $217.91. I’d say that is more than worth the money spent. Can’t wait to see what FFF has in store for their future boxes!!
