While I was randomly perusing the web a few weeks ago, I saw mention of a Beauty Box by Target and was obviously intrigued. I am obsessed with Target and the fact that they were selling a Beauty Box for $5.00 was a no brainer. Let me preface this by saying that for the price, whatever products they placed in this box would have been well worth the cost.
Every box came with the same 5 items so let me show you what I received.
Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray
I’ve heard about this brand and was anxious to try this spray. It reminded me of the beach and that nice wave you get from the ocean. Now if only the weather would follow suit.
L’Oréal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara
Who can’t use another mascara? A nice black mascara that lengthens your lashes. I’m still in the testing period with this but I like it so far.
Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo
I like this new Naked line by Herbal Essences. I’ve used the regular shampoo and thought it worked great. I’m not a huge dry shampoo person, frankly I just like to take showers so we will see if I can find a use for it. But it smells nice!
COVERGIRL Smoochies Sizzle Gloss
A standard lip gloss. Nothing too crazy but it’s not sticky which is much appreciated. This will go in my Vera bag filled with Chapstick and lip balm.
Jergens BB Body Cream Light
I actually just bought a small trial size of this lotion at CVS and then my box was delivered and I got a second. I don’t mind having 2 at all. I like the smell and feel of this lotion and a BB body cream is an interesting concept. I’m going to give it a week or so before I determine if it actually does anything. I got the light skin tone variety and it blends right in with my skin.
Overall, this box is a fantastic deal. I’ll certainly be keeping an eye out if they offer another one!!
