I have to say, Birchbox has impressed me again. 6 products this month! Compared to what’s coming in my ipsy bag, I certainly think Birchbox has a better handle on my style. So let’s get down to business (to defeat….the Huns).
Tea Forté minteas in Ginger Pear
Right off the bat…really cool concept but they lost me on the flavor. I was not feeling the Ginger Pear. Some of their other flavors seem more intriguing, but it is a very generous sample size so maybe I’ll give it another go. Or find someone who likes Ginger Pear Tea!
COOLA Tinted Matte SPF 30 for Face
Smart move for Birchbox to promote a product with SPF. Oftentimes, we (myself included) forget to keep up with the SPF during the winter. Our faces can take a beating from the glare off the snow, especially with the amount of snow we’ve had in New England!
Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle
I’ve had my eye on this product for months now. My sister received the hair oil last month and it smells amazing and she raves about it. I was so happy to see this in my box this month and it has not disappointed. Number 1: It smells AWESOME. Sweet, sugary…I don’t know what it is but it’s phenomenal. Number 2: Detangles like a charm. Number 3: Makes my hair super soft and shiny. I’ll be purchasing this in the future.
Gilchrist & Soames London Collection Body Lotion
I’m pretty sure I’ve used this brand at the hotel where we stayed for our honeymoon. The hotel was upscale as were all of their brands and I remember really liking the products. Honestly, I’d never buy a full size of this item. It works as well as any halfway decent hotel lotion and the smell is faint which is preferable for me!
Harvey Prince Cherie Blossom
No. Just no. I wear one perfume. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. It is the one perfume that doesnt give me a major migraine. These floral scents just will not do. I know perfume samples are unavoidable with BB, I can only hope that I get a couple months reprieve before my next sample!
Ghirardelli Intense Dark Cherry Tango
Chocolate. Oh. Chocolate. Haven’t tried this yet but rarely am I disappointed with Ghirardelli chocolate so I was very happy to see this in the box.
Stay tuned for my review of the March Ipsy Glambag which should be arriving in the mail momentarily. If you want to sign up for Birchbox, feel free to use my link here. It really is a great value for $10/month so think about it!

Haha, “to defeat… the Huns.” Awesome box! I am a huge fan of Beauty Protector’s Protect and Oil- I’m happy to hear that their detangling spray is just as good. Thanks so much for sharing!
I really liked the Coola sunscreen and was disappointed that the full size is on a back order. I guess I’ll have to wait for it to be available again.
