February 2014 Birchbox

So this month, I was a little nervous because I really enjoyed January’s box so Murphy’s Law tells me the chips need to fall eventually but I am happy to report I really enjoyed this month’s box as well.

First up, Bain de Terre shampoo and conditioner which were very generous sized samples. The scent is Passion Flower and it is specifically for color-treated hair…which is me! I really liked the smell and I thought my hair felt really soft after using it. I ended up giving the rest of my sample to my Mom because she’s always looking for a good shampoo for her artificially golden locks!

Next up is OPI Sheer Tints Color -Tinted Top Coat in I Can Teal You Like Me. I think the concept of this polish is great. I found that it chipped quite a bit but I’ve been seeing pictures where people use this over a white polish as an accent and I think I’d give it another try for something like that. I was happy to receive this thought because I had heard a lot about it.

Lastly for the beauty items, Caudalie S.O.S. Morning Eye Rescue. This was a generous sample size considering the full-size costs $34. I haven’t noticed a huge difference while using this cream but I will say I don’t look QUITE as tired so I guess I would consider that a success!!

I also received 2 packets of tea from Harney & Sons which I have yet to try. The flavors are Paris and White Vanilla Grapefruit which both sound enticing. Time will tell!!

So that’s it for February. I’m excited to see what’s in store for March. I have ordered PopSugar Must Have’s Special Edition Resort Box and also subscribed to Fab Fit Fun’s Spring VIP box so there’s a lot more in store!!
